An intuitively designed experimental font based on composer John Cage’s song In A Landscape (1948). The characters are drawn with East-Indian ink – for fluent movement – while listening intensively to the song. As a result, the characters are a subjective and personal representation of In A Landscape. Each of the characters are assigned to a letter on the keyboard and by pressing two or more times, another variation of the character can be chosen. By setting the space between sentences smaller, all of the characters start to intertwine, creating an entire landscape of their own.
